Cees Veerman's lecture at TCD - 'Water, Food Security and Climate Change: The Global Challenge'

The renowned Dutch economist, and former Minister for Agriculture, Cees Veerman visited Trinity College to deliever the first lecture in the Climate Justice Seminar Series. Prof Veerman outlined the effects that rising temperatures will have on the global food supply, and gave his thoughts on the recent scandal surrounding the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change Report. And he outlined the potentially catastrophic effects of rising sea levels on The Netherlands. Padraic Ryan recorded the lecture for Earth, Wind and Spire.
